TV bags best Tamil television channel award
Sun
TV has bagged the Indian Television Academy’s award
for the best Tamil TV channel for the year 2002. Similarly,
other channels of the Sun Network, Surya, Gemini and
Udaya have won the best channel awards, in their respective
languages.
The awards
ceremony organised by the Indian Television Academy,
was held in Mumbai. The Sun Network, which enjoys
a strong presence in all the South Indian states,
has bagged awards for all the regional languages -
Sun in Tamil, Gemini in Telugu, Surya in Malayalam
and Udaya in Kannada.
